We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Berlin data protection authority within 72 hours (Art. 33 GDPR) and affected users without undue delay where required (Art. 34 GDPR).

These terms apply to the Banana Stand website (bananastandberlin.com), The Banana Stand loyalty app (app.bananastandberlin.com), and your participation in the loyalty program. By using either, you agree to these terms.
We may modify or end the loyalty program at any time with 30 days’ written notice to your email address. If the program ends, you’ll have a 30-day window to redeem any outstanding stamps before they expire.
When you use the site or app, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved according to German law. Place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants is Berlin.
Ask us what personal data we hold on you. We’ll give you a full copy, free of charge, within 30 days.
If any of your data is wrong or incomplete, we’ll correct it within 30 days of your request.
The “right to be forgotten.” Ask us to delete your account and data. We will, except where we’re legally required to keep records.
Ask us to limit how we use your data — for example, while you’re disputing accuracy. We’ll store it but not use it for other purposes.
Request a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format (CSV). Take it with you wherever you like.
Object to certain uses of your data. For example, if we were using it for marketing (we’re not), you could opt out.
To exercise any of the above rights, send a request to datenschutz@bananastandberlin.com with “GDPR Request” in the subject line and sufficient information to identify your account. We will respond within one month of receipt (extendable by two further months for complex requests, Art. 12(3) GDPR).
If you believe we’re misusing your data, you can file a complaint directly with the Berlin data protection authority:

We genuinely don’t do ad tracking. The only cookies here are the ones that make the app work.
